Responsibilities

Conduct research on potential military and government customers across various channels to build an initial lead list.
Support outbound campaigns targeting government agencies by gathering insights on potential contacts and opportunities.
Qualify initial leads based on established criteria, ensuring they align with existing opportunities in the government vertical.
Assist in engaging with government and military customers to provide information on UltiMaker’s offerings as aligned with their unique needs.
Follow up on leads generated from marketing campaigns, maintaining a steady line of communication to keep potential customers informed.
Support relationship-building efforts by attending meetings, documenting customer needs, and assisting in follow-up actions as directed by senior team members.
Use CRM tools to track leads, customer interactions, and opportunities in the sales pipeline, keeping accurate and up-to-date records.
Monitor the pipeline for new activity, providing regular updates and flagging high-priority opportunities to senior sales staff.
Assist in preparing pipeline reports for the sales team, focusing on data accuracy and relevant insights.
Prepare supporting documents and proposals for senior sales staff to use in customer negotiations.
Assist in the creation of presentations and product demonstrations that align with customer requirements.
Collaborate with internal teams to gather resources and ensure smooth support of the sales process.
Work with the channel sales team by supporting their efforts to leverage partner relationships in government-related sales.
Assist in tracking partner engagements and coordinating activities that support channel partner success.
Help organize and update shared resources, including presentations and reports, for channel partner use in the government sector.
Provide basic support to existing government and military accounts, responding to initial customer inquiries and escalating as needed.
Assist in maintaining customer satisfaction by addressing basic issues or connecting customers with the appropriate support.
Support efforts to identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling by keeping records of customer needs and interests.
Conduct entry-level research on trends, budget cycles, and general government purchasing behavior to support the sales team’s strategies.
Gather feedback from customer interactions and communicate insights to the sales and marketing teams.

Required

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Proven experience in a sales role, preferably in a B2B environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and engage with customers.
High level of motivation, self-discipline, and a positive attitude.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales engagement tools.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
