Responsibilities
Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of cloud infrastructure using GCP, ensuring high performance, security, and scalability.
Architect and optimize CI/CD pipelines for seamless application deployment and updates.
Drive the adoption of best practices in infrastructure as code (IaC), automation, and monitoring.
Troubleshoot complex technical issues, leading incident response and root cause analysis efforts.
Manage a team of DevOps engineers, providing technical guidance, mentorship, and performance feedback.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, product managers, and architects, to align DevOps initiatives with business goals.
Oversee the team's workload, ensuring that tasks are prioritized effectively and deadlines are met.
Foster a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, and innovation within the team.
Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or Deployment Manager to ensure consistent and repeatable deployments.
Implement and maintain automation scripts for infrastructure management and application deployment using scripting languages like Python or Bash.
Design and enforce security best practices, including identity and access management, encryption, and network security, within GCP environments.
Establish and maintain monitoring and alerting systems using tools like Stackdriver, Prometheus, or Grafana to ensure system reliability and performance.
Continuously analyze system performance metrics and implement improvements to optimize the performance and scalability of applications.
Define and enforce Service Level Objectives (SLOs) to maintain high system availability and reliability.
Lead efforts to identify and implement new tools, technologies, and processes that enhance the DevOps workflow.
Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in cloud computing, DevOps, and related technologies, driving innovation within the team.
Participate in agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives, contributing to the continuous improvement of the development process.

Required
Bachelor's degree or higher in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Programming or substantially related field is required.
High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or Associate's degree, or Bachelor's degree required.
3 years of experience required.
1 year of leadership or management experience preferred.
Preferred
5-7 years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or a related field.
1-2 years of experience in a leadership or team lead role.
Extensive hands-on experience with GCP, including compute, networking, storage, and security services.
Proven expertise in building and managing CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar.
Strong experience with containerization technologies such as Kubernetes (GKE) and Docker.
Proficiency in scripting and automation using languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
Solid understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles and experience with tools like Terraform or Deployment Manager.
Strong leadership and team management abilities.
Deep technical expertise in cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, and automation.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex systems.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Ability to balance technical work with management responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
Experience with multi-cloud environments, including Azure and AWS.
Knowledge of DevOps tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Stackdriver, and others.
Familiarity with source control management (e.g., GIT) and collaboration tools (e.g., Atlassian Suite).
Experience with implementing and managing security best practices in cloud environments.
