Responsibilities
Analyze, evaluate, and audit claims adjudication for various group insurance products, including Disability and Life insurance
Conduct quality checks on the work of Benefit Claim Technicians and Specialists to ensure accuracy and consistency
Mentor and provide constructive feedback to claims staff, promoting best practices in claims management
Stay updated on industry developments and regulatory changes to ensure compliance and knowledge-sharing
Identify and eliminate process inefficiencies to enhance service quality for customers

Required
5+ years of Group Disability Claims experience with autonomy in claims management
Proven experience applying policies and procedures in a business environment
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with an independent work ethic
Experience in mentoring or coaching within group claims
Commitment to fostering a culture of diversity and inclusion
Preferred
Previous experience in a leadership or team-oriented role within claims management
Familiarity with regulatory requirements in the insurance industry
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Effective communication skills for training and mentoring others
Ability to adapt to evolving processes and industry standards
