Responsibilities

Manage daily billing operations for designated areas of billing and insurance coding

Collaborate with providers and staff to resolve coding and reimbursement issues

Assist with patient concerns related to billing

Support denial management and appeals processes

Maintain knowledge of medical terminology, Medicare, Medicaid, I.H.S., and third-party billing

Required

General knowledge of medical terminology, Medicare, Medicaid, I.H.S., and third-party billing

Must be available for day shift hours, Monday through Friday

Preferred

Technical certification from National Association of Healthcare Access Managers (NAHAM) or American Association of Healthcare Administration Management (AAHAM) is preferred but not required

Experience in healthcare billing or coding

Familiarity with denial management processes

Strong problem-solving skills related to reimbursement issues

Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
