Responsibilities

Work as part of a cross-functional team in a fast-paced, start-up-like business unit
Contribute to algorithms and software implementations in areas such as language localization, medical image investigation, automated test solutions, and user interface design
Prototype and iterate on designs

Required

Knowledge and experience with C++ or C#
Familiar with at least three of the following software best practices: object-oriented programming, unit testing, automated testing, version control systems (Git), error handling and logging, design patterns, performance optimization
Must be currently enrolled in and returning to an accredited degree-seeking academic program in the Fall
Must be available to work full-time (approximately 40 hours per week) during a 10-12 week period starting May or June
Current enrollment in a Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical & Computer Engineering, or related degree-seeking program at the Doctorate level. Master's level students will be considered based on specific relevant experience

Preferred

Familiarity with development in a Linux environment
Experience with GUI development in Qt/QML
Experience with OpenGL and 3D rendering
Experience with parallel programming and Cuda
Experience with game engines such as Unity or Unreal Engine
