Responsibilities
Respond to demand letters, EEOC charges, employment requests and subpoenas, and other employment related litigation matters.
Help establish a workflow based on an agreed upon Standard Operating Procedure for handling incoming employment demands, and other employment-related work like EEOC charges, employment subpoenas and other employment-related matters.
Manage CA employment law and rules, but also laws/rules for other jurisdictions for subpoena responses.
Utilize customer legal systems and playbook, including AI tools for efficiency.
Act as part of a growing team handling work for a dedicated customer.
Interface with existing teams who pull information needed finalize settlement agreements.
Oversee and manage reporting progress to present to the customer on a quarterly basis.

Required
10+ years of experience in California employment matters, including responding to employment demand letters, EEOC/administrative charges, responding to employment subpoenas and other related areas of California employment law.
Must have experience leading teams and training junior resources.
J.D. from an accredited law school.
Licensed to practice law and in good standing in CA required.

Experience with Microsoft products like Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
Preferred
Large law firm experience strongly preferred.
Experience with AI tools a plus.
