Responsibilities
Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Complete year-end close for review, audit, and tax purposes.
Develop and monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
Conduct variance analysis and report findings to management.
Create strategies to ensure enterprise-wide program growth and implement process improvements to maximize output and minimize costs.
Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger. Coordinate with HR Director on payroll.
Ensure compliance with GAAP and other relevant regulations. Manage the month-end and year-end close processes.
Track and analyze weekly and monthly expenses.
Reconcile expenses to projects to determine recoverable vs. unrecoverable costs.
Track and manage employee expense reports and reconcile them with the financials.
Audit completed projects to confirm profit margins on projects.
Review and approve changes to project pricing and billable rates.
Connect and manage integrations between internal and external project management, accounting, payroll, and expense reporting systems.
Ensure data consistency and streamline processes across platforms.
Oversee company subscriptions and vendor payments.
Negotiate contracts and maintain relationships with vendors.
Manage client vendor registrations, ensuring a clean handoff of all tasks, including bidding and negotiations, terms and conditions, performance, renewals, and termination communications and deliverables.
Ensure event vendor contracts are reviewed and signed.
Oversee client contract registration processes, including tracking and external communications with stakeholders, to ensure seamless transition of client contract registrations to consulting project management.
Oversee the client procurement process, including supplier management, negotiations, resolving disputes, policy changes, contract closing, debriefs, and audits to ensure a seamless transition to consulting project management.

Required
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field from an accredited college or university.
Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance roles, with at least 2 years in a supervisory capacity.
Experience with expense tracking and cost reconciliation in a project-based environment.
Knowledge of GAAP and financial regulations.
Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred
CPA or CMA certification preferred.
Experience in the consulting industry.
Familiarity with integrating and optimizing business systems and processes.
Proven track record of process improvement and efficiency.
