Responsibilities
Responsible for editing, fact-checking, and providing feedback on articles to ensure accuracy, clarity, and adherence to editorial guidelines
Monitor the article schedule using tools such as Asana or our in-house CMS to ensure that publication targets are met
Review (and assist in crafting) pitches to the Linux section for quality and suitability
Contribute to the development of SEO researched ideas, and generate Linux topics for the writer base
Review and assess due dates associated with tasks
Self-publish to the section (or other sections on the site) to meet the writing quota
Expected to be present and engaged in required meetings

Required
Experience in writing and editing for an online tech publication
Expert knowledge of everything Linux
First-hand experience with a Linux distribution (and able to run multiple distributions, as virtual machines at least, for testing)
Be highly organized with great time management skills
Possess proficient communication skills with remote teams
