Responsibilities

Handle all aspects of the discovery process, and drafting motions, including motions for summary judgment.
Defend clients in fact-finding conferences and on-site visits.
Represent clients in mediations and conciliations, and negotiating settlements.

Required

5+ years of increasingly responsible employment litigation experience, preferably on the management-side.
Familiarity with and experience in federal and state court practice, as well as with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, Department of Labor, and other federal, state and local government administrative agencies.
Litigation experience, including drafting responsive pleadings, handling all aspects of the discovery process, and drafting motions, including motions for summary judgment.
Ability to handle a practice that includes handling EEOC charges, including defending investigations, preparing position statements, defending clients in fact-finding conferences and on-site visits, representing clients in mediations and conciliations, and negotiating settlements.
A collegiate, cooperative approach and enjoy working with experienced lawyers sharing ideas, resources and best practices.
A desire to work on exciting matters without the demands of a full-time, on track position.
Strong time management skills, and a flexibility around potential work flow.
An active bar license in the state in which you will reside.

Preferred

Candidates should ideally commit to being available to work 1000 or more hours per year depending on the specific casework.
