Responsibilities
Visionary leader: Motivated by the idea of building a unique, mission-driven brand voice and perspective in a traditionally outdated real estate brand landscape. Lead outside agency in concepting and executing an annual brand campaign.
Strategic storyteller: Champion StreetEasy’s brand, visual identity and tone of voice, shaping narratives that captivate our audiences, cultivate brand love, and reinforce our position as a trusted platform in NYC real estate.
Passionate about brand integration: Eager to infuse the brand into every aspect of the product, marketing, and advertising landscape: ensuring quality that speaks to our values and sets new industry standards.
Lead and inspire: Create and cultivate an environment that gets the in-house team and agency excited to do their very best work to elevate StreetEasy’s brand story and narrative.
Inclusive and collaborative: Comfortable both leading and collaborating with partners, promoting a culture of innovation, inclusion, consistency and excellence. Balance big-picture vision with day-to-day management. Willing to roll up your sleeves to push work forward and craft creative that is compelling, differentiated and aligned with our brand voice.
Team building: Provide mentorship and leadership to a team of designers and copywriters. Foster talent development, mentorship and a culture of curiosity, innovation and high standards.
Lead with perspective: Proactively drive creative strategy and execution. Don’t wait for briefs - bring forward perspective and recommendations that move the brand and business forward.
Adaptability: Thrive in an ever-changing, fast-paced environment. Be adaptable to adjust to unforeseen changes while maintaining creative excellence and strategic focus.
Problem solving: Comfortable driving prioritization and managing multiple priorities, production schedules and requirements to ensure timely delivery of projects in partnership with Marketing Project Manager. Critically evaluate and drive continuous improvement to the creative process.

Required
A premier creative leader with 10+ years of proven experience in brand creative roles across B2C and B2B audiences, with a portfolio that exemplifies craftsmanship, attention to detail, and a passion for translating business strategies into eye-catching, persuasive and goal-focused campaigns
An outstanding people manager with 5+ years of management experience and a passion for helping team members grow and advance toward collective and individual goals
A strong storyteller with a deep understanding of art direction, graphic design, user experience, digital marketing/communications and the ability to drive initiatives from concept through execution
The ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization, ensuring all stakeholders are aligned and informed, presenting brand work to all levels of the organization
A leader who excels at balancing creative and craft excellence with business objectives, ensuring that work is not only innovative but also efficient, scalable, and performance-driven
A strong manager who can deliver quality work on time and within budget while fostering collaboration and career growth
A flexible leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment
Experience with Figma, Taxi, WordPress or similar editing/CMS required
Agency experience and/or significant inhouse experience with a well-known brand
Preferred
Brand style guide development a plus
Familiarity Jira (or similar task management tools) preferred
