Required
Basic Education Requirement in the Education section
One year of directly related specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level: Deploying technical Earth science programs and scientific advances; Participating in contributing to projects agency's operating programs in Earth Science; Participating in the development of new Earth science.
One year of directly related specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 level for GS-14: Deploying technical Earth science programs and scientific advances to advise agency officials as well as cultivate and deepen external partnerships; Contributing to or leading projects including capacity building, outreach, foundational research, campaign-related data collection, or Earth action; Developing or conceiving new Earth science project or applications using advanced theories, principles, concepts, standards, and methods.
