Responsibilities

Design, implement, and deploy scalable and secure Node.js services.

Refactor and modernize legacy Node.js services.

Integrate external services.

Prototype new technologies to reduce costs and increase engineering velocity.

Required

Extensive recent experience with Node.js and AWS/GCP.

Proven expertise in back-end software engineering for the development of new and enhanced back-end services.

Confident in working with high-volume, high-performance Node.js servers.

5–8 years of experience designing, implementing, and running Node.js servers (or other languages) in demanding, high-traffic environments.

Strong hands-on experience with Node.js (our platform is Node-based).

Cloud experience with AWS and/or Google Cloud.

Extremely technical, hands-on server software expertise.

Preferred

Some experience with Ad Tech is preferred.

Bonus points for experience with online advertising, including: Ad servers, Programmatic ad servers, RTB, DSPs, SSPs, VAST, VMAP, Freewheel, DoubleClick.

Experience working in distributed teams.

Familiarity with: MongoDB, Redis, Typescript, Golang.
