Responsibilities
Execute presentations to customers during calls, courtesy visits or trade shows.
Respond to customers’ enquiries (e.g. Requests For Information).
Contribute to writing newsletters.
Generate new contacts with prospects through cold-calling, emailing, courtesy visits, trade shows etc.
Gather and interpret customers’ requirements, collaborate with company’s departments to identity proper technical solution to offer, prepare/negotiate offers/contracts.
Support identification of commercial and industrial partners to foster further market growth.
Generate regular market and sales reporting.

Required
Proven experience in capital equipment sales – ideally industrial food processing sector
Can work efficiently with little supervision in a company structure which, initially, foresees no direct reports
Travel to develop accounts and to discuss/negotiate proposals
Follow-up skills with customers
Strong understanding of computer systems/programs such as Microsoft Office, Outlook, ERP and CRM systems
Be able to travel 50%-70% within the USA and to Canada and spend an initial training period in Europe
