Responsibilities
Be accountable for an individual annual target
Independently lead the sales process including planning and implementation of sales activities.
Assist with identification of bid defense team participants. Educate team participants in client culture, operational needs/methods and sales techniques needed to close the sale.
Independently identify accounts which have the potential to become global key accounts.
Lead the preparation of Sponsor presentations (general capabilities and bid defense presentations).
Understand and identify potential growth areas for Avania through market research and knowledge of competitive landscape.

Required
At least 5 years of Contract Research Organization (CRO) sales/commercial/client relationship experience with a proven record of accomplishment, of selling complex multi service offerings combined with strategic thought and business acumen.
A hunter and proven new business winner
Ability to independently lead regional sales strategy and process
Ability to provide VP with regular metrics
Demonstrate a proven record of business lead generation experience
An in-depth knowledge of 'How a CRO works' gained from working within a full service CRO
