Secondary Science Content Developer (Part-Time)

Responsibilities
Contribute to development of visual aids and interactive diagrams that help students to acquire the key science concepts.
Write, edit, or QA digital activities related to the learning objectives and curriculum documents provided by our partner school districts.
We would particularly value a science teacher with an eye for design, who can use our graphics library to create new images and/or give design guidance to our illustrator.

Required
Must be located and authorized to work in the USA.
Excellent content knowledge, demonstrating proficiency with the key Life Sciences and Physical Sciences standards for grades 6-11, with a current priority on Biology.
Ability to give and receive feedback in a constructive way.
Design sensibility, showing an understanding of basic instructional design and visual communication skills.
At least five full school years of full-time experience teaching NGSS-based middle or high school science courses, preferably including Biology.
Ability to provide a portfolio of prior curriculum and content development work.
Preferred
Experience working on a team or PLC.
Experience teaching multilingual learners/ELLs.
