Responsibilities
Conduct in-depth data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights that drive business decisions. Prepare and present reports to stakeholders to inform strategic planning.
Act as the primary liaison between business users, technical teams, and vendors to ensure seamless communication and successful project delivery.
Identify project risks and issues, and work proactively to mitigate them. Develop contingency plans to address potential delays or challenges.
Assist in the planning and execution of change management initiatives to ensure smooth transitions when implementing new systems, processes, or technologies.
Facilitate the validation and approval of requirements with stakeholders to ensure accuracy and alignment with business goals.
Work closely with the QA team to ensure the solution meets the requirements, and support testing efforts by providing clarity on business needs.
Lead or support initiatives aimed at redesigning business processes for greater efficiency, productivity, or cost savings.
Create user manuals, training guides, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to support end users post-implementation.
Deliver training sessions to business users on new systems, tools, or processes, ensuring a smooth adoption of new solutions.
Assist in managing project budgets by identifying cost-saving opportunities or by ensuring that project scope stays within financial constraints.
Conduct market research to identify industry trends, best practices, and potential solutions that can be implemented to achieve business objectives.
Work with stakeholders to foster a culture of continuous improvement, offering recommendations for ongoing enhancement of business processes and systems.

Required
Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or Certification of Competency in Business Analysis (CCBA) is highly preferred.
Experience with database management and SQL for querying and reporting.
Experience working with Business Intelligence (BI) tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or QlikView.
Proficiency with process mapping and business modeling tools (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart, Balsamiq).
Experience with cloud-based solutions (e.g., AWS, Microsoft Azure) and knowledge of modern IT infrastructure.
Understanding of data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA) and compliance requirements.
Knowledge of industry standards and regulations in your specific sector (e.g., finance, healthcare, manufacturing, etc.).
Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Dynamics 365).
Expertise in customer relationship management (CRM) tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate across various levels of the organization.
Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities to identify innovative solutions to complex business challenges.
Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail.
Strong presentation skills, with the ability to clearly convey complex information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Proven track record of leading or being part of cross-functional project teams to deliver business solutions.
Experience in performing gap analysis and developing solution options.
Experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role, depending on the level (Junior, Mid, Senior).
Demonstrated ability to think critically, analyze complex problems, and propose actionable solutions based on data and stakeholder input.
Ability to quickly learn new tools, systems, and technologies in a dynamic business environment.
Flexible approach to change, with a willingness to adapt to evolving business needs and technological advancements.
Required Security clearance.
Preferred
Agile certifications such as Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Agile Business Analyst (IIBA-AAC) would be a plus.
ITIL certification or experience in IT service management is beneficial.
Federal Experience is a plus.
