Responsibilities

Meet with clients to assess their FinOps maturity, identify areas for improvement, and develop comprehensive plans to enhance their FinOps practices.

Support clients throughout the engagement and ensure their expectations are met.

Work cross-functionally as needed in support of the customer.

Deliver industry leading FinOps services to clients.

Identify and align business outcomes and objectives with client needs, ensuring that engagements deliver measurable value and exceed client expectations.

Enable clients to mature their FinOps practice by providing ongoing guidance, best practices, and expertise.

Independently lead and manage multiple complex FinOps projects for different clients simultaneously, ensuring timely and successful delivery.

Foster a collaborative and productive team environment.

Support, guide, and delegate tasks to other consultants and customer stakeholders as necessary.

Develop and implement strategies that drive client satisfaction and business growth.

Identify opportunities to maximize the value we can provide to clients.

Refine our FinOps offerings to align to changes in industry best practices and client objectives.

Support in the creation of new services and improvements/addition to existing services.

Design customer-facing presentations, deliverables, processes, etc., for existing and future engagements.

Continuous improvement of all customer-facing content as the industry changes over time.

Required

Proven experience in FinOps, with a strong background in leading FinOps practices or consulting.

Comprehensive FinOps knowledge, capable of supporting clients across all FinOps domains and capabilities at any maturity level.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze financial data and provide actionable insights and recommendations.

In-depth knowledge of one or more major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).

Experience with cloud native and third-party FinOps and cloud optimization tooling.

Strong business acumen and strategic thinking, with the ability to understand and prioritize client needs.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.

Able to build and deliver impactful presentations to clients.

Demonstrated ability to lead and manage multiple complex projects independently.

Creative, innovative, and entrepreneurial mindset.

FinOps Certified Practitioner (Required)

Preferred

Cloud Provider Certifications: Possess or be willing to obtain AWS Cloud Practitioner, Azure Fundamentals
