Responsibilities
Performing the day-to-day activities related to the monthly, quarterly and annual closes: Initiating journal entries by compiling and analyzing account information
Preparing accruals associated with key accounts
Preparing monthly income statements and balance sheets
Reconciling and analyzing balance sheet and income statement accounts
Partnering with FP&A to perform close activities and review/understand key drivers of the results
Liaising on Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable matters
Helping to implement and enforce accounting policies and best practices
Helping prepare and consolidate various ad hoc analyses, reports, and data requests
Qualification
Required
BS in Accounting required
3-5 years of accounting experience with progressive growth
Proficiency working in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
Ability to interact with all levels of the organization
Strong time-management skills, and ability to adhere to tight deadlines during the month-end close process
Strong analytical and detail-oriented background
Preferred
MBA
CPA or individual sitting for the CPA Exam
Microsoft D365 experience
Retail experience
