Business Development Specialist – Automation Industry (m/f/x)

Responsibilities
Develop and execute strategic sales plans for Industrial Automation business to drive revenue growth
Deliver on the annual Business Plan by creating and closing out opportunities from a broad portfolio of offers
Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities within existing accounts and prospective clients
Proactively identify and engage new clients for industrial automation, expanding our customer base
Promote & sell automation systems, service solutions
Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements in alignment with company policies and profitability targets
Monitor account performance and provide regular updates to internal teams regarding sales forecasts, pipeline status, and customer feedback
Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to promote company offerings and network with potential clients
Stay current on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies in the industrial automation space
Conduct market research and analysis to identify customer needs and develop compelling value propositions
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering and project management, to deliver tailored automation solutions to clients

Required
Proven experience in key account management, business development, or sales within the industrial automation industry
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust with clients
Demonstrated ability to develop strategic relationships and influence decision-makers
Results-driven mindset with a track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
Self-motivated personality with strong networking skills, allowing to proactively seek out and establish connections within the industry
Customer-focused mindset with strong commercial ability, enabling to identify customer needs and propose tailored solutions
Good personal presence and presentation skills
Strong technical knowledge of automation products and solutions, including PLCs, SCADA systems, and IoT applications
Proficient in using CRM software and other sales tools to manage accounts and track performance
Willingness to travel within the United States as needed to meet clients and attend industry events
