Responsibilities

Resolve first and second-tier hardware, software, and connectivity issues efficiently.

Document request history, triage advanced issues, and route them to appropriate technical teams.

Perform system upgrades, deploy new devices, and surplus outdated equipment per university guidelines.

Provide basic training for users and maintain accurate documentation of systems and processes.

Work closely with IT professionals in networking, software engineering, and application development to resolve complex issues.

Follow university policies on secure computing, account maintenance, and hardware/software evaluation.

Required

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, Computer Engineering, or a related field.

At least one year of relevant experience. Equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. for installing and relocating equipment.

Capability to crawl under desks for setup and troubleshooting.
