Responsibilities

Serve as Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to support the development of undergraduate courses in environmental regulatory compliance and environmental impact assessment.

Work closely with an academic dean and learning experience designer to advise on and develop curricula.

Ensure that courses are delivered asynchronously online in 5-week terms.

Required

An advanced degree (Master’s minimum) environmental engineering or related field.

Knowledge of and experience with environmental impact assessments, environmental regulations, and compliance practices.

Willingness to embrace the potential of generative AI tools to improve learning and/or workplace performance.

Ability to efficiently operate a personal computer and associated software (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.).

Strong organizational and time management skills.

Ability to communicate effectively and appropriately.

Personal commitment to the environmental focus and mission of the University.

Preferred

Experience with online teaching and/or distance learners is desirable.
