Responsibilities
Partner with the leadership team to understand and execute the organization’s talent strategy particularly as it relates to current and future talent needs, recruiting, and retention.
Manage the talent acquisition process and collaborate with recruiting.
Facilitate and mature the quarterly and annual performance evaluation process.
Analyze trends in compensation and benefits; researches and proposes competitive base and incentive pay programs to ensure the organization attracts and retains top talent.
Partner with accounting to evaluate costs for a competitive comp and benefits package.
Administer benefits open enrollment, hiring and termination process including system configurations, meetings.
Assist employees with questions and collaborate with service providers.
Promote an environment where everyone feels respected, valued and empowered.
Serve as the caretaker of workplace culture in collaboration with leadership.
Develop and maintain policies and procedures that promote a positive work environment.
Provide support and guidance to leadership and other staff when complex, specialized, and sensitive questions and issues arise; may be required to administer and execute routine tasks in delicate circumstances such as providing reasonable accommodations, investigating allegations of wrongdoing, and terminations.
Oversee employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommend best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
Work with Career Advisors on onboarding plans for new team members and ongoing employee skills development.
Create learning and development programs and initiatives that provide internal development opportunities for employees.
Develop, maintain and communicate the company structure, the levels within the structure and the criteria for reaching the next level in employee career progression.
Cultivate a strong organizational culture with HR strategies.
Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organization’s HRIS system.
Bachelor’s degree in human resources, related field or applicable experience required.
Preferred
A minimum of seven years of human resource management experience preferred.
SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification desired.
