Responsibilities

Provide support to the Operating Company MRO organizations.
Review reports and identify anomalies by applying analytical skills and assist with report generation.
Identify the need for and assist in the creation of documentation to support daily responsibilities or end-user training.
Participate in the implementation of business processes (such as billing, meter asset management and financial reporting, regulatory obligations, revenue protection activities, and mass meter installations) or systems enhancements.
Contribute to the definition and creation of business processes (such as billing, meter asset management and financial reporting, regulatory obligations, revenue protection activities, and mass meter installations)
Contribute to the definition of functional requirements.
Contribute to the development of Business Case documentation to gain approval for business process enhancements.
Participate in test case development and execution of test cases.
Assist in the development of documentation to support any new responsibilities or end-user training.
Assist in the resolution of end users requests and system defects on less complex issues.
Communicate with end users to understand issues and questions on less complex issues, and set expectations of resolution timeframe based on priorities.

Required

Associate's Degree in Engineering, Business, IT or related field such as Engineering or Computer Technology; (Or) High School Diploma or GED and two (2) years of related experience.
No experience required except as noted above.
Strong verbal and written communication skills and strong organizational and time management skills.
Demonstrate behavior aligned with AEP Values (Zero Harm, Integrity and Stewardship, Adapt and Achieve, Customer Focus)
Demonstrate initiative and a questioning mindset.
Basic competency in PC skills such as Microsoft Office and AEP applications and software.
Advanced proficiency in querying languages (SQL, QMF) MS Excel and MS Access a plus.
