Responsibilities
Provides daily human resource support to the business and responds to HR inquiries submitted to HR with a one-day turn-around and documented for HR recordkeeping.
Partners with and supports managers in developing and updating job descriptions and following AAP goals and objectives. Supports activity to hire the best talent for each job opening.
Reports to the HR Ops Manager or HRD to ensure key HR initiatives are communicated and understood and that HR projects are successfully completed timely and as planned.
Responsible to know, understand, and apply all HR policies and programs for any given situation as well as knowing and conveying how policies/procedures relate to or are supportive of federal and state employment law/regulation.
Responsible for the accurate, timely, and effective data entry for employee activities such as sister-to-sister company transfers, terminations, promotion or demotion, benefit setup, affirmative action planning, on boarding, coaching and educating managers, and other employee actions.
Responsible for maintaining and electronically filing employee documentation and documents as needed in the electronic personnel file.
Supports and develops HR Standard Work to ensure a consistent application of our HR processes and create an environment of continuous improvement for greater efficiencies.
Provides policy interpretation; application of S&K policies and offer policy reminders or confirmation to the field to ensure compliance or understanding as needed.
Supports the transcription, documentation, and/or filing of employee documentation, ensuring accurate and complete documentation is appropriately maintained and, when needed, can be translated into reportable metrics.
Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership across HR to develop solutions, programs, or policies.
Provides support to HR team in preparation of presentations, employee training, meeting agendas, customer correspondence, legal proceedings, and other support as needed.
Tracking, reporting, creating dashboards, and culling analytical data as directed.
Other Duties as Assigned.

Required
Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of five (5) years Human Resources work experience; or an equivalent combination of education and Human Resource experience totaling nine (9) years that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities in the human resource field.
A minimum of two (2) years of experience must be demonstrated at a professional HR level in Human Resources, with direct experience in employee and manager support required.
Demonstrated experience in managing OFCCP/AAP compliance required.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as FLSA, FMLA, EEO and OSHA federal, tribal and state regulations.
Working knowledge of laws, acts, and regulations governing Human Resources practices and activities is required.
Excellent organizational and prioritization skills and ability to juggle multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a timely manner.
Must have ability to organize and prioritize work within mandatory time frames.
Ability to work quickly and efficiently, manage multiple projects, set priorities, pro-actively resolve challenges in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
Excellent customer service and teamwork skills.
Accuracy in advice given and proven accurate over time.
Must have excellent analytical/research skills and the ability to make critical judgments based on information in sensitive employee relation areas to achieve resolution of moderately complex issues within legal constraints and a consistent application of organizational policies.
Must have the ability to manage self and others in high pressure or conflict-laden situations.
Must have effective communication (both written and verbal) and interpersonal skills in working with all levels of employees.
Must be able to orally present information in group settings.
Ability to recognize and seek additional information when needed.
Proficiencies in utilizing HRIS systems, Word, and intermediate Excel required, including an understanding of the impact of various transactions on reporting outcomes.
Must have strong relationship building skills and ability to influence.
Preferred
PHR/SPHR certification through HRCI or SHRM-PC/SHRM-SCP through SHRM or an equivalent certification that marks the success of HR knowledge is strongly preferred.
Experience with ADP strongly preferred.
