Eye Disease Researcher (T/TT)
The University of Missouri-Columbia is inviting applications for a tenure/tenure track faculty position in the Department of Ophthalmology. The role focuses on researching molecular mechanisms involved with anterior segment diseases and evaluating therapeutic interventions for diseases affecting the eye and visual system.

Responsibilities
Conduct research on molecular mechanisms involved with anterior segment diseases leading to visual loss or retinal disease(s)
Evaluate therapeutic interventions for diseases affecting the eye and visual system
Qualification
Required
Candidates must have a PhD, DVM and/or MD degree and postdoctoral training
Preferred
experience conducting translational research consistent with this position description and the University's research mission
