Senior LevelThe University of Missouri-Columbia is seeking a Post Doctoral Fellow in Immunology at the Wan Lab. The role involves conducting research on vaccine-induced immune responses and virus transmission risks, utilizing various biological methods and collaborating with the Principal Investigator.
Education
Responsibilities
Design and execute studies to analyze the impact of pre-existing immunity on vaccine-induced immune responses and virus transmission risks, evaluate correlates of vaccine protection, and contribute to the development of strategies to enhance vaccine effectiveness using systems biology approaches, including single cell RNAseq, in both human cohorts and animal models (particularly ferrets and swine)
Record all methods, results, and other relevant information in an organized manner as instructed by the Principal Investigator
Perform experiments, data analysis and manuscript preparation
Qualification
Required
PhD in Immunology or related degree by start of appointment
Exceptional organizational and time management skills

Confidentiality, integrity, and a commitment to the university's values
Previous experience in a virology lab
