Responsibilities
OpenShift Platform Management: Deploy, configure, and maintain OpenShift clusters in on-premises or cloud environments.
Monitor and optimize the performance of OpenShift environments.
Manage OpenShift workloads, including container orchestration, networking, and storage.
Linux Systems Administration: Maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize Linux-based servers and systems.
Implement best practices for system hardening and compliance.
Monitor and manage system resources to ensure high availability and performance.
Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR): Deploy, configure, and manage EDR solutions on Linux systems.
Monitor and analyze security events and incidents detected by EDR tools.
Investigate, respond to, and remediate security incidents.
Security and Compliance: Ensure OpenShift and Linux systems adhere to security best practices and compliance standards (e.g., PCI-DSS, HIPAA, or ISO 27001).
Perform regular vulnerability assessments and implement patches as necessary.
Develop and enforce security policies for containerized applications and Linux environments.
Collaboration and Documentation: Work closely with DevOps, IT, and Security teams to ensure seamless integration of security and operational requirements.
Maintain comprehensive documentation for OpenShift configurations, Linux systems, and EDR deployments.
Provide technical support and mentorship to team members.

Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Relevant certifications or equivalent experience may be considered.
Proven experience managing OpenShift environments.
Strong background in Linux system administration (e.g., Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Ubuntu, or CentOS).
Hands-on experience with EDR tools (e.g., CrowdStrike, Carbon Black, or SentinelOne) in Linux environments.
In-depth knowledge of Kubernetes and containerization technologies.
Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python) for automation.
Strong understanding of networking concepts and protocols (e.g., DNS, TCP/IP, and firewalls).
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
Preferred
Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift Administration
Linux Professional Institute Certification (LPIC) or equivalent
Certifications in EDR or cybersecurity (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CISSP)
