Enhance the scope of research in bacterial pathogenesis and metabolic regulation of inflammation
Contribute to the training of graduate students in the Translational Biosciences PhD Program
Educate undergraduate and/or medical students
Participate in departmental and university service and committee activities

Required

PhD, MD or MD/PhD or equivalent degree in microbiology, immunology, or appropriate related discipline

Demonstrated potential to establish or maintain an internationally-recognized, externally-funded research program
Robust publications in peer-reviewed journals
A research focus on bacterial pathogenesis, host responses to infection and/or metabolic regulation of inflammation and the microbiome
