The University of Missouri is a world-class research university seeking a dynamic candidate for the Division of Acute Care Surgery. The role involves expanding surgical services and providing critical care in a Level I trauma center serving primarily rural populations.
Education
Responsibilities
Expand the Division of Acute Care Surgery
Provide care for the injured, elective, and emergent general surgery
Surgical critical care in a dedicated Trauma-Surgical ICU
Burn/thermal injury care
Qualification
Required
Board certified/eligible in general surgery with added qualifications in surgical critical care or commensurate clinical experience
Completion of additional thermal injury/burn training or commensurate experience in the care of the thermally injured
