Responsibilities

Expand the Section of Thoracic Surgery in the Division of Cardiothoracic Surgery

Provide care for cancer patients at Ellis Fischel Cancer Center

Support the growth and development of general thoracic surgery in both general and cancer surgery

Conduct clinical trials and translational research

Engage in robust clinical, outcomes and basic science research

Qualification

Board Certified in Thoracic SurgeryMinimally Invasive Thoracic SurgeryRobotic Thoracic SurgeryClinical Experience in Thoracic SurgeryInterest in Medical Education

Required

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Thoracic Surgery

Minimally invasive and/or robotic thoracic surgery experience

Clinical experience in a significant spectrum of malignant and benign non-cardiac thoracic surgery of the chest, mediastinum and foregut

Strong interest in medical student, general surgery resident and fellowship training
