Responsibilities
Read, analyze, develop, and maintain program code as part of either custom systems or software packages. Code written/maintained is expected to be well-engineered, efficient, effective, easily readable by others, adequately commented, containing proper error handling, adhering to all coding standards, and robust.
Ensure that all migrated changes follow proper change control processes, including sufficient documentation as required by IT and Audit policies.
Work closely with business SME personnel to develop and maintain a functional understanding and documentation of the business use of applications and what processes have been developed against the data and functions associated with those applications, as well as any data challenges that may exist.
Perform technical detailed analysis on the database structures, database components, batch processing, and online processes, and document that analysis in an easy-to-understand and informative way. Keep existing documentation up to date regularly.
Continually evaluate the effectiveness of the application and associated procedures, documenting all points of weakness with suggestions for areas of improvement for review with the business.
Lead and/or participate in requirement gathering and issue resolution meetings with technical and business resources. Create business requirements definitions, functional, system design, and technical specifications that are detailed, complete, and in compliance with the IT standards.
Lead small-scale or sub-functional teams for system design, modification, upgrade, and implementation projects. This includes efforts to migrate systems and applications to the Azure cloud environment.
Formulate and define systems scope and objectives. Work with clients to map current and future business processes and align technology solutions with short- and long-term business strategies.
Develop unit and system test scripts, execute, and validate with a high degree of accuracy and completeness. Assist the business team with the creation of business UAT and system test plans.
Ensure that issues are identified, communicated to appropriate business and technical staff, and resolved in a timely manner.
Present design ideas, status reports, and application information in a well-organized and effective manner.
Demonstrate proficiency in technology needed to support the application(s), including, where applicable: coding languages, database, Internet, Intranet, Extranet, client/server architectures, and interface technologies.
Use existing or seek out emerging industry practices when solving business problems, especially in the context of Azure cloud solutions.
Push creative thinking beyond the boundaries of existing industry practices and client mindsets.
Develop positive relationships with client personnel that foster client ties, seeking opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and deepen client relationships.
Manage client expectations effectively and effectively communicate the status of all open work.
Maintain documentation for all support and issue resolution tasks associated with the support of the application.
Facilitate and ensure compliance with government or regulatory standards (SOX, PCI, internal audit, external audit, etc.).
Maintain a positive attitude and demonstrate a commitment to corporate success.

Required
Associate degree in a computer-related field or a minimum of 3 years of programmer analyst experience in information technology.
Experience in developing, deploying, and managing applications on the Azure platform, ensuring they are scalable, secure, and efficient.
Proficiency in deploying applications to the Azure cloud environment, including understanding of various deployment models and strategies.
Experience with MongoDB, including database design, management, and optimization.
Proficiency in developing, integrating, and managing APIs, ensuring they are secure and efficient.
