Responsibilities
Customer Ticket Management: Monitor, prioritize, and resolve customer tickets related to network and wireless issues. Provide timely updates and communication with customers throughout the resolution process.
Wireless Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve wireless network issues, including interference, signal strength, and connectivity problems. Utilize network management tools to monitor wireless performance and ensure optimal service levels.
Network Monitoring: Continuously monitor network performance using NOC tools and systems. Identify and escalate critical issues, ensuring minimal downtime and impact on customers.
Incident Response: Respond promptly to network incidents, performing root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of network issues, resolutions, and system changes. Ensure that all procedures are documented and followed consistently.
Collaboration: Work closely with other NOC team members, network engineers, and support staff to resolve complex issues and improve network performance.
Weekend Coverage: Provide network support and ticket resolution during weekend shifts as part of the 4x10-hour work schedule.

Required
Bachelor’s Degree
4+ years of experience in a service/tech support role.
Proven experience in a NOC or network support role.
Strong proficiency in wireless networking, including troubleshooting and performance optimization.
Knowledge of network monitoring tools and systems.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Understand critical milestones that drive operational excellence.
Flexibility working a variety of shifts with minimal notice.
Basic technical knowledge.
Proficiency in the use of a computer, and software applications including Microsoft Office.
Highly organized and attentive to detail, with the ability to work on multiple tasks/projects simultaneously (multi-task).
Effective interpersonal skills with the ability to work with personnel at all levels, both within and outside the company.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision on a highly productive team.
Ability to manage budgets, timelines, and resources effectively.
Easily takes initiative and works independently.
Maturity, professionalism, and good work ethic.
Preferred
Certifications such as CCNA, CWNA, or equivalent.
Experience with MikroTik
Experience with Ruckus
Experience with managed WiFi networks.
Familiarity with ITIL practices.
