Responsibilities

Develop and implement machine learning models for applications such as speech-to-text interfaces, video captioning, natural language processing, summarization, and search over public-safety data.

Participate in the entire machine learning lifecycle, including data curation, model training, deployment, monitoring, and feedback.

Collaborate with infrastructure engineers and research scientists to build high-performing and reliable machine learning products.

Develop reusable components and libraries to facilitate collaboration between research units and production engineers.

Contribute to the continuous improvement of our machine learning systems through code reviews, documentation, and best practices.

Required

1+ years of combined experience as a software developer and/or a post-graduate degree in a quantitative science or engineering field (e.g., Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics).

Proven experience using Python for software development projects.

Hands-on experience contributing to Machine Learning projects, including model development, training, and evaluation.

Strong written and oral communication skills in English.

Bachelors Degree with 0+ years of professional experience.

Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required. Employer work permit sponsorship is not available for this position.
