Responsibilities
Technical due-diligence, feasibility studies and implementation of transmission and distribution infrastructure projects.
Power sector master planning, integrated resource and resilience planning, system modelling and analyses.
Demand forecasting, renewable energy generation forecasting and system operations including scheduling and dispatch.
Electric utility management, modernization and performance improvement.
Management of donor funded power sector infrastructure programs and projects.

Required
Bachelor’s degree in science, engineering, mathematics or related fields.
At least 10 years of experience in the energy sector covering one or more areas listed above.
Experience managing energy projects funded by donors, developers and/or other commercial entities.
Ability to build effective relationships with peers, supervisors, clients, and stakeholders.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Professional level fluency in French and English (reading, writing and presentation skills).
Preferred
Master’s degree in science, engineering, mathematics or related fields.
Prior experience working for electric utilities, national government, or international organization.
Knowledge of FIDIC form of contracting.
