Responsibilities
Develop and execute a comprehensive annual social media content plan that aligns with Beyond Type 1’s mission and goals, ensuring an engaging, cohesive presence across all platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, Tiktok, YouTube, etc
Work with our Community Engagement and Digital Marketing teams to manage relationships with a diverse network of influencers, helping with collaborations to produce compelling, mission-driven content that resonates with the diabetes community
Create social media content as needed, maintaining a consistent voice and visual style across channels
Manage contractors supporting the translation, posting, and strategizing for Beyond Type 1 & Type 2 (Spanish) accounts to ensure content consistency and alignment with organizational goals
Monitor social media trends, platform updates, and engagement metrics to optimize content strategy and improve campaign performance
Engage with followers, respond to community inquiries, and foster a supportive and inclusive social media environment
Monitor and analyze the performance of influencer campaigns, tracking key metrics such as engagement rates, ROI, and audience growth

Required
Proven experience in social media management with a specific focus on influencer engagement and collaboration
Strong understanding of social media platforms, content planning, and influencer marketing best practices with the ability to manage multiple accounts at once
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with influencers, with experience working specifically with micro and mid-level creators
A strategic and organized mindset, with the ability to develop content plans that align with broader organizational goals
Proficiency in content creation, with experience in tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, social editing software like CapCut or equivalent
Familiarity with analytics tools to track and report on content performance
Self-motivated, and capable of managing multiple projects in a remote, fast-paced environment
Preferred
Knowledge of Type 1 and/or Type 2 diabetes and familiarity with the diabetes community
Experience in nonprofit or health-focused social media management
Knowledge of video editing, motion graphics is a plus
