Responsibilities

Develop and execute financial strategies to support both short-term and long-term business goals.

Act as a strategic partner to the executive team by providing insights and recommendations to enhance growth and efficiency.

Maintain banking relationships, manage debit and equity financing, liquidity considerations, and other treasury functions.

Oversee investor relations and ensure partnership compliance, including ESOP, option grants, and Cap Table management.

Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis processes, ensuring precision and alignment with organizational objectives.

Engage in hands-on FP&A tasks, including comprehensive financial modeling and scenario planning.

Provide actionable insights regarding financial performance and potential areas for optimization.

Monitor and analyze crucial SaaS metrics such as ARR, CAC, LTV, churn, and NRR to facilitate decision-making.

Prepare and present detailed financial reports for stakeholders, including investors and organizational leadership.

Ensure adherence to financial regulations and best practices.

Optimize and maintain financial systems while utilizing tools like Maxio to enhance operational efficiency.

Conduct audits and share findings with external auditors to confirm the organization's financial status.

Comply with federal, state, and local legal requirements by analyzing existing and new legislation, foreseeing future regulations, enforcing compliance, filing financial reports, and advising management on necessary actions.

Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.

Prepare, review, and file accurate tax returns, including corporate income tax, payroll tax, sales tax, and any other pertinent filings.

Manage, mentor, and develop finance and contract teams, promoting remote and cross-functional collaboration.

Foster effective communication and alignment between finance and other departments.
