Responsibilities
Plan, design, and execute complex Active Directory migrations, consolidations, or restructures using Quest Software tools.
Perform detailed assessments and audits of existing AD environments to identify dependencies and ensure a smooth migration.
Optimize and troubleshoot AD replication, Group Policy, trusts, and domain controller configurations.
Leverage Quest Migration Manager and other related tools to facilitate migrations between AD domains and forests.
Monitor and resolve issues related to migration tools, ensuring alignment with project timelines and quality standards.
Manage, maintain, and troubleshoot Windows Server environments, including security, backups, and patching.
Support authentication systems, including Kerberos and NTLM, and ensure seamless integration with other IT systems.
Collaborate with network and security teams to ensure compliance with organizational standards.
Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for migration processes, configurations, and troubleshooting guides.
Provide regular status updates and post-migration reports to stakeholders.

Required
5-10 years of hands-on experience in IT infrastructure roles with a focus on Active Directory administration and migration
In-depth knowledge of Active Directory architecture, including DNS, Group Policy, and replication
Proven experience with Quest Software tools, especially Quest Migration Manager
Strong Windows Server administration skills (2016/2019/2022)
Experience with hybrid identity solutions involving Azure Active Directory
Familiarity with security best practices, including RBAC, MFA, and least privilege access
Experience with M365 tenant creation and management
Experience migrating M365 / Azure tenants
Experience Migrating End User workstations to new domain
Preferred
Scripting and automation experience (e.g., PowerShell)
Knowledge of virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V)
Experience with Office 365/Exchange migrations
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, MCSE, or Quest Certified Professional) are a plus
