Responsibilities

Maintain a documented system of accounting policies and procedures and a comprehensive set of controls designed to mitigate risk and to enhance the accuracy of the company’s reported financial results.

Develop and implement best practices and tools to ensure a well-controlled yet flexible organization that has strong fiscal management, project coordination, cross-team communications, and workflows.

Directs the preparation of all financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, shareholder reports, tax returns, and governmental agency reports.

Oversee the operation of the Finance department, including the design of an organizational structure adequate for achieving the department’s goals and objectives.

Oversee the accounting operations of subsidiary corporations, especially their control systems, transaction-processing operations, and policies and procedures.

Track cash flow, financial planning as well as analyzing the company's financial strengths and weaknesses and proposing corrective actions.

Monitor business performance with tracking tools, establish corrective measures as needed, and prepare detailed reports for the Executive Management team, and rest of company as required.

Coordinate and monitor corporate investments.

Analyzes operations to identify areas in need of reorganization, downsizing, or elimination.

Works with the Chairman of the Board, the President, and other executives to coordinate planning and establish priorities for the planning process.
