Responsibilities

Draft, review and negotiate contracts and agreements.

Implement and maintain a Contract Lifecycle Management System.

Update old or acquired MSA’s and SOW’s

Ensure that the company complies with relevant laws and regulations in its operations and business activities.

Oversee legal disputes and coordinate with external law firms as necessary to handle litigation matters.

Oversee due diligence processes for mergers and acquisitions, including travel to other offices or courthouses as needed.

Provide legal guidance on employment-related matters, including contracts, policies, and disputes.

Advise on matters related to corporate governance and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Identify and manage legal risks the company may face, and implement strategies to mitigate those risks.

Adherence to our Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure all work is handled securely, professionally and diligently.

Required

Comprehensive legal counsel to the company's board and management on various legal issues affecting the business.

Strategic thinker with broad legal expertise to manage legal risks, ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations, oversee litigation, and protect the company’s intellectual property.

Collaborate closely with Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) teams to uphold high standards of corporate governance.

Draft, review and negotiate contracts and agreements.

Proficiency in assessing and managing legal risks, identifying potential challenges, and developing strategies to mitigate or address them.

Deep knowledge of relevant laws and regulations applicable to the organization’s industry, ensuring compliance with legal requirements.

Understanding of legal nuances across different jurisdictions and managing legal issues on a global scale.

Understanding of financial principles and ability to assess the financial implications of legal decisions and strategies.
