Responsibilities

Collaborate with Advisory Talent Leaders, Resource Management Workforce Leaders and Resource Management Team Leads: Communicate across various leadership roles to understand Advisory project requirements and resource needs. Identify and allocate suitable resources based on skills based staffing methodologies. Perform talent searches across Advisory talent channels for desired availability, and workload capacity to ensure effective project delivery and client satisfaction.
Develop and Manage Resource Plans: Consider project timelines, resource availability, and business priorities. Continuously monitor resource utilization, anticipate potential bottlenecks or conflicts, and take proactive actions to mitigate risks.
Analyze Workloads: Regularly assess team and individual workloads, identifying opportunities to balance or redistribute tasks to optimize efficiency and employee satisfaction. Coordinate with recruitment and talent management teams to address resource gaps and requirements.
Liaison and Communication: Act as a point of contact between advisory teams, project managers, and stakeholders to ensure clear communication channels for resource planning, allocation, and changes. Facilitate discussions to resolve conflicts related to resource availability or allocation.
Staffing Strategies: Help deliver staffing strategies and initiatives aligned with Advisory Resource Management business objectives.
Generate Analysis and Reporting: Utilize Resource Management systems to efficiently generate analysis and reporting of key Resource Management data.
Ensure Scheduling Compliance: Ensure scheduling policies and procedures are followed. Work proactively with the RM network and leadership team to identify scheduling conflicts and trends.
Collaborate with Internal Groups: Work cross-functionally with Finance and Accounting, Human Resources, Global Mobility, Learning and Development, and Recruiting teams to further Advisory Resource Management initiatives.
Develop Onboarding and Staffing Services: Collaborate with resource management colleagues and functional leaders to develop and implement onboarding and staffing services that effectively utilize and provide career opportunities to professionals.
Build Relationships: Become a known and reliable resource for client-facing professionals. Build strong relationships to understand their development needs and assignment preferences, balancing these with business and personal needs.
Participate in Strategic Initiatives: Engage in ad-hoc practice-wide strategic initiatives and projects in support of resource management strategy, including the assignment of resources to projects based on standard protocols.
Day-to-Day Contact: Act as the day-to-day contact for managers and staff regarding general firm and resource management topics.

Required

Minimum of 3 years in business-related areas such as Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, Resource Management, or general business operations.
Experience in Resource Management, Recruiting for Finance/Accounting professionals, or client service delivery, preferably within a professional services firm or similar environment.
Strong technical skills with the ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities.
Proficient in project management and resource planning tools, as well as Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
Intermediate Excel skills (Pivots, V-Lookup) and data analysis experience.
Ability to develop working relationships with various levels of an organization.
Capacity to organize and manage large quantities of data.
Demonstrate critical thinking skills with strong attention to detail, focusing on data accuracy and quality.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, managing competing priorities and meeting tight deadlines.
Proactive and solution-oriented mindset with the ability to anticipate and address resource challenges or conflicts.

Preferred

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or equivalent experience.
Knowledge of consulting industry dynamics and business models.
