Responsibilities

Annual budgeting and monthly forecasting of Mr. Cooper corporate functions
Responsible for a centralized finance department that provides support to corporate business partners, accounting, and segment FP&A teams
Responsible for all financial planning (short-term and long-term) and analysis operations including financial controls (budgets), costs and general accounting.
Plays a critical leadership role in providing key financial insight that helps company's strategic decision, financial forecasts and operating plans.
Oversee the preparation and analysis of the annual operating plans and earnings projections for corporate functions
Gather research and analyze data to drive diagnostic rigor in developing actionable solutions and making decisions
Partner with team leadership on multiple concurrent projects for top leaders of the company
Prepare analysis, commentary and presentation material for the monthly and quarterly business and financial review meetings
Support quarterly external reporting, including MD&A and support information

Required

Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting or related field is required.
6+ years of experience in FP&A roles.
Strong oral and written communication skills and ability to formulate and deliver insights around complex business problems in a thoughtful and persuasive manner.
Ability to work independently with minimal oversight or junior support.
Strong personal initiative and good judgment; desire to succeed in a demanding environment.
Comfortable working under demanding deadlines and producing key senior-executive deliverables.
Proficiency in strategic and financial planning.
Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint expert.
