Responsibilities

Develop optimization strategies that increase car dealers' search engine results rankings
Perform SEO keyword and topic research in coordination with client business objectives to optimize existing content and uncover new opportunities throughout dealers' websites
Research, analyze and assess clients' on-page optimization and usability, as well as their competitors
Recommend strategic changes to website architecture, content, linking, and other factors to improve organic SEO positions for target keywords/search entities
Set measurable goals that demonstrate improvement in SEO marketing efforts
Monitor and administer daily web analytics and performance dashboards, reports, and essential reporting tools, and point out key areas of importance per client goals
Efficiently communicate current SEO activities, tactics, and strategies with Account Managers and Media Managers to align goals and drive continuous improvement
Effectively communicate key findings and strategic SEO recommendations with dealership staff such as Dealer Principals, GMs, and Marketing Directors
Collaboration with others within the Account Management department to manage SEO strategy
Work closely with content teams to support said strategies and optimize existing content to reflect them
Implement link-building campaigns in coordination with client SEO goals
Write and edit compelling, high-quality website content
Update dealership website content and website links for maximum optimization and search engine rankings
Perform ongoing keyword research, track keyword trends, and contribute accordingly to content planning strategies and tactics

Required

Successful completion of a BA/BS degree in Business, PR/Communications, Marketing, or other related fields.
Two+ years of experience in developing and executing successful SEO campaigns.
Understanding of search engine algorithms, ranking methods, and current search trends, specifically regarding topics such as Content Clusters, Core Web Vitals, and Technical SEO.
Experience with standard SEO industry programs like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, AHREFS, SEMrush, and other SEO-related resources.
Experience with automotive industry website CMS platforms like Dealer.com, Dealer Inspire, DealerOn, Jazell, eBiz, Dealer eProcess, FusionZone, and others.
Knowledge of keyword research and data mining tools.
Able to easily identify website experience and usability issues that impact conversion rate optimization.
Able to complete competitive analysis of other dealerships and automotive properties within the industry.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills (email, phone, etc.).
Adept problem solver with extreme attention to detail and a strong team player.
Comfortable analyzing high volumes of data daily.
Proficient in HTML / CSS, website usability best practices, organization and structure.
Proficiency in GSuite applications and analytics/spreadsheet-based reporting.

Preferred

Experience with other aspects of digital marketing, such as customer growth and marketing promotion.
