Responsibilities

Deliver top-line growth.
Guide the construction of annual, quarterly and monthly sales plans and targets.
Deliver a business development / sales plan by way of exemplary executive level execution and by managing and developing customer relationships in a manner which maximizes the effectiveness of each internal team member and of the organization.
Work closely with the Leadership Team to pursue corporate vision, including corporate development and global business strategy.
Provide leadership and direction to ensure growth of existing markets and guide further expansion into new markets.
Build sales pipeline for future growth with close collaboration from Marketing for demand generation; ensuring qualified marketing leads are converted to sales accepted leads for pipeline growth.
Manage the end-to-end sales cycle and processes, including management of forecasting versus targets.
Develop and maintain strong relationships, credibility, and confidence with internal and external stakeholders.
As our business grows, you will structure and manage business development, marketing, sales, and communications resources.
Explore, recommend, and execute strategic M&A opportunities that add value to the business while staying true to the vision.
Serve as the primary point of contact with pharmaceutical partners, nurturing long-term partnerships and securing new opportunities to expand our network.
Lead the negotiation, structuring, closing and executions of partnership deals.
Identify and approach potential strategic partners, crafting pitches that highlight our program’s value and innovative approach to liver-related therapies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to further the scientific and market value of programs.
Drive initiatives to enhance program efficacy, guiding them through key stages of development and positioning it for successful outcomes.
Lead ongoing partnership management post-deal to ensure alignment, communication, and success across mutual goals.
Facilitate updates, reviews, and progress meetings with pharmaceutical partners to maintain momentum and foster innovation.

Required

Bachelor’s degree in science or engineering.
15+ years of relevant experience encompassing investment banking, business development, program leadership, and/or partnership management in the biotech or pharmaceutical sector.
Proven experience as an investment banker with a specialization in the pharmaceutical and healthcare sectors, demonstrating a strong track record of closing deals and leveraging deep industry knowledge and contacts to deliver strategic financial solutions and drive business growth.
Proven track record in successfully structuring and pioneering new business initiatives.
Strong negotiation skills and experience in the solution-based selling of technical products.
Self-starter who is eager to identify new avenues of business.
Strong network in the pharmaceutical industry, with experience in managing high-stakes relationships and partnerships.
Recognizes challenges and opportunities for the business.
Excellent written, oral, and presentation skills.
Demonstrates strong accountability by setting clear expectations, delivering on commitments, and fostering a culture where both the individual and the team are held responsible for performance and outcomes.
Proven ability to influence at all levels of an organization.
Enjoys a challenge and is ambitious, enthusiastic, and determined.
Strong work and personal ethics; respectful and trustworthy.
Possesses confidence, presence, and strength of character; willing and able to challenge the presumptions of strong and knowledgeable individuals without causing conflict.

Demonstrable track record in recruiting, managing, and developing talent to exceed customer expectations.
Highly organized – both strategically and tactically, including proficiency in transferring strategic planning into daily execution, by way of project and work stream management.
Extensive experience as a dynamic and resolute leader of a team or organization, capable of inspiring individual growth and team success.
