Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and repair industrial-grade HVAC systems, including large capacity chillers, chilled water piping, Variable Air Volume (VAV) systems, Computer Room Air Handlers (CRAHs), and Air Handling Units (AHUs)
Interface with HVAC control systems and perform necessary adjustments to ensure optimal performance
Serve as the single point of contact for the HVAC portion of assigned projects, coordinating with other team members and stakeholders
Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on HVAC equipment to ensure efficient operation and minimize downtime
Troubleshoot complex HVAC issues and implement effective solutions
Maintain accurate records of all maintenance, repairs, and service calls
Ensure compliance with all applicable HVAC codes and safety regulations

Required

High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree in HVAC technology preferred
5+ years of experience in industrial HVAC installation, maintenance, and repair
Extensive knowledge of large capacity chillers, chilled water piping, VAVs, CRAHs, and AHUs
Strong proficiency in HVAC control systems and interfaces
Valid driver's license and clean driving record
EPA certification and any relevant state licenses
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Willingness to travel to various locations, including northern and southern Virginia, Milwaukee, Chicago, Phoenix, Dallas, Las Vegas, and Washington
Ability to lift heavy equipment, work in confined spaces, and climb ladders
Comfortable working in various environmental conditions, including extreme temperatures

Preferred

Associate's degree in HVAC technology
Experience supporting critical infrastructure is highly desired but not required
