Responsibilities
Advising on intellectual property including filing trademarks, responding to office actions, assisting with copyright registrations, and creating licensing agreements;
Assisting business owners and individuals in creating estate plans that will enable their legacy to continue for generations;
Structuring, drafting, and negotiating a wide variety of commercial contracts;
Executing M&A deals including performing due diligence, drafting, and negotiating agreements; and/or
Forming and advising nonprofits.
Provide quick, concise, and practical business-centric legal advice consistent with a client’s business objectives.
Skilled at networking and using social media effectively to grow Athena’s client base.
Act decisively, manage clients autonomously and work well with business owners.
Amplify the company culture in all communications and interactions.
All other duties as assigned.

Required
A JD with 1-3 years’ experience, including in-house and/or law firm experience
Member of Wisconsin, Illinois, or Minnesota State Bars ONLY
An attorney with broad business expertise or specific expertise in advising business owners in one or more of the following: Advising on intellectual property including filing trademarks, responding to office actions, assisting with copyright registrations, and creating licensing agreements; Assisting business owners and individuals in creating estate plans that will enable their legacy to continue for generations; Structuring, drafting, and negotiating a wide variety of commercial contracts; Executing M&A deals including performing due diligence, drafting, and negotiating agreements; and/or Forming and advising nonprofits.
Have an ability to provide quick, concise, and practical business-centric legal advice consistent with a client’s business objectives.
