Responsibilities
Maintain and administer the ECM platform, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and security.
Configure workflows, user roles, permissions, and integrations to align with business processes.
Provide Tier 2/3 support for ECM-related issues.
Troubleshoot and resolve system performance issues, including SQL queries and server configuration.
Perform basic server administration tasks, including monitoring, patching, and managing server performance.
Ensure system backups and disaster recovery plans are operational for the ECM environment.
Write and optimize SQL queries to support ECM reporting and troubleshooting.
Collaborate with database administrators to ensure data integrity and performance.
Troubleshoot connectivity issues impacting ECM performance.
Collaborate with IT teams to configure network settings related to the ECM system.
Plan and implement system upgrades, patches, and enhancements in collaboration with IT and vendor teams.
Create and maintain user guides, technical documentation, and workflows.
Provide training and support for end-users to maximize the system’s potential.

Required
+ 3+ years of experience as an Application Administrator, preferably with ECM tools such as Hyland Perceptive Content, OpenText, or SharePoint.
+ Experience with server administration, SQL, and networking concepts.
+ Certification in any EMC tool preferred.
+ Proficient in managing ECM systems, including workflow design and system integrations.
+ Familiarity with server operating systems (Windows or Linux).
+ Ability to write and troubleshoot SQL queries.
+ Understanding of networking (e.g., DNS, IP addressing, firewalls).
+ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
+ Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
Preferred
Experience with scripting languages (e.g., JavaScript, PowerShell).
Familiarity with on prem/cloud-based ECM solutions and integrations.
Knowledge of compliance standards related to ECM systems and data security.
Experience managing virtualized or cloud-hosted environments (e.g., VMware, Azure, AWS).
