Project Manager, Environmental Services
EDR is a multi-disciplinary environmental consulting and design firm seeking a versatile, team-oriented Project Manager to join their Environmental Services Group. The role involves overseeing environmental resource studies, impact analysis, and permitting while coordinating with internal staff and clients in the Mid-West region.

Responsibilities
Overseeing and directing the production of resource studies and permit applications
Coordination with and delegation of tasks to internal interdisciplinary staff
Effective QA/QC of deliverables
Consultation with clients, permitting attorneys, and regulatory agency personnel
Development and management of budgets and schedules
Participation in business development activities such as responding to client requests for information or proposals
An ability to represent EDR technically and professionally at project-specific meetings and professional conferences
Qualification
Required
At least 10 years of experience in environmental resource studies, impact analysis, and permitting with an understanding of various state and local permitting regulations and requirements in Mid-West states (Ohio, Kentucky, Michigan, Indiana, and Illinois)
A solid understanding of permitting processes with agencies such as the Ohio Power Siting Board, Kentucky Electric Generation and Transmission Siting Board, Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy, Indiana Department of Environmental Management, Illinois Environmental Protection Agency, and other related agencies
Strong technical writing and editing skills, and strong written and oral communication abilities
Proficient project management skills, which may include but are not limited to: overseeing and directing the production of resource studies and permit applications, coordination with and delegation of tasks to internal interdisciplinary staff, effective QA/QC of deliverables, consultation with clients, permitting attorneys, and regulatory agency personnel, development and management of budgets and schedules, participation in business development activities such as responding to client requests for information or proposals
An ability to represent EDR technically and professionally at project-specific meetings and professional conferences
A minimum BS degree in environmental science, natural resources, biology, ecology, or related field
Preferred
Experience with relevant federal permitting requirements such as wetland regulations, threatened and endangered species regulations, and the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA)
