Responsibilities

Conduct risk assessments and consult with clients on fire, explosion, and natural hazard risks.
Help clients neutralize potential disasters.
Develop strong working relationships with clients and help them identify, quantify, and reduce risks to their business.
Advise on property protection and develop solutions supported by extensive research base and unique scientific expertise.
Manage field, office, and project work for clients within a wide range of industries.
Deliver products and services in a timely and efficient manner.
Achieve risk improvement by ensuring client understanding, consulting to reach client agreements, and executing follow-ups until completion.
Work independently from a home office with minimal supervision.

Required

Minimum bachelor’s degree in engineering (mechanical, chemical, civil, electrical, fire protection)
Minimum of 2-5 years’ experience
Familiarity with industrial loss prevention
An eagerness to learn across a broad range of industries and types of hazards.
Good analytical, organizational, problem solving, and interpersonal skills
Independent and focused within a home office environment, with strong planning and time management skills with minimal supervision.
Results driven and self-motivated are a must
Solid technical aptitude including diverse knowledge of engineering principles
Strong verbal and written English communications skills
Proficient in MS Office products
Physically able to lift 25 pounds, able to climb ladders, and experience heights.
Authorization to work in the US
Valid driver’s license

Loss prevention experience preferred
Interest in climate resiliency a plus
