Responsibilities
Collaborates with manager on the identification and assessment of insurable risk throughout the Company.
Responsibilities include development, implementation and maintenance of comprehensive global insurance programs to minimize the Company's Total Cost of Risk.
Actively manages and escalates risk and customer-impacting issues within the day-to-day role to management.
Negotiates with insurance brokers and carriers to obtain favorable terms, conditions, and pricing.
Collaborates with manager on renewal process for Property, Casualty, and Professional Liability insurance programs, including the development of insurance Specifications, completing underwriting applications, negotiating terms and conditions, evaluating proposals, and providing a recommendation for a selected program.
Gathering exposure data internally for insurance renewals and analyzing information for accuracy.
Creating and developing reporting and presentations to senior management.
Support Occupational Health and Safety on Loss Control programs.
Provide direction to business units on insurable for non-insurable exposures.
Review of contract insurance wording to ensure compliance with company’s minimum insurance requirements.
Manage open casualty claims (e.g. Workers Compensation) with internal business partners and insurance carrier.
Strong oral and written skills
