Responsibilities
Implement and manage a variety of socioeconomic programs, including but not limited to Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB), Veteran-Owned Small Business (VOSB), Women-Owned Small Business (WOSB), and more.
Prepare, present, and manage training materials related to these programs.
Perform market research, review subcontracting plans, and complete 8(a) Offer Letters for the Small Business Administration (SBA).
Conduct DD2579 quality assurance acquisition document checks prior to OSBP Small Business Professional review.
Provide administrative support, including scheduling meetings, managing the outreach calendar, and drafting correspondence and write articles on specific topics.
Actively participate in outreach events, stay current on statutes, regulations, and policies, and manage various outreach calendars.
Plan, organize, and execute outreach events such as Industry Days, training sessions and Brown Bag sessions.
Provide inputs for monthly status reports.
Systems and database administration for the DTRA vendor databases.
Assist with the production of documentation to support new acquisitions and follow on contracts. Such information and documentation include Market Research, Acquisition Plans, and Statements of Objectives.

Required
Active Top Secret Clearance Required
Comprehensive understanding of Small Business Statutes, regulations, and policy, along with the DoD Mentor-Protégé Program (MPP), Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR), Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) Programs, and FAR/DFARS.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong understanding of the DoD acquisition process.
Proficiency in using Microsoft Windows Office Suite, SharePoint, and SalesForce CRM Software-as-a-Service (SaaS).
Plan, coordinate and facilitate industry conferences and information sessions relative to developing acquisition requirements and instructions.
